About the Journal
SERA: Journal of Social Review and Public Affairs is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the critical analysis of social dynamics and the advancement of public policy studies. Published twice a year in June and December by the Yayasan Cendekiawan Indonesia Timur (YCIT), SERA serves as a premier platform for global scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality, rigorous scientific works that address contemporary social challenges and governance.
Focus and Scope: SERA invites original contributions that explore the intersection of society and policy. Our scope includes, but is not limited to:

Social Studies: Sociology of development, social transformation, community empowerment, and cultural studies.

Public Affairs & Policy: Public policy analysis, governance and bureaucracy, social justice, legal studies, and public sector leadership.
To maintain the highest academic standards and impact, SERA exclusively invites submissions of original and unpublished manuscripts in the following categories:

Original Research Articles: Empirical studies (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods) providing novel findings and robust methodological frameworks in social and public affairs.

Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR): Protocol-driven reviews and meta-analyses that offer a comprehensive synthesis of existing social research and identify critical gaps for future study.
